Covid-19 Updates May 1, 2022 in Bangkok Thailand.
Since May 1, our tattoo studio is back to normal hours and accepting more customers every days and above all we are pleased to re-welcome walk in customers every week.
We hope like everyone else, never to see this crisis again since 2020 and especially this covid-19 virus.

Bangkok may reopen cinemas, gyms, spas, tattoo shop ...
A decision is expected today on whether preschools, museums, massage joints and other businesses in Bangkok and other hard-hit provinces may reopen – though nightclubs and bars were not mentioned.
The COVID-19 task force this afternoon will consider 10 types of businesses, including cinemas, spas, tattoo shops, indoor gyms and museums in Bangkok and 28 other so-called dark red provinces may reopen months after they were shut to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The businesses and activities include:
Pre-school children and young children’s development centers
Libraries
Museums and historical sites
Learning centers, science and cultural centers, arts center
Indoor sports arenas, indoor fitness centers
Manicure salons
Tattoo parlors
Massage parlors, spas
Cinemas
Live music inside restaurants
There were no nightclubs and bars, which were among the first businesses shut and likely the last to be reopened. Without government support, a number of bars and other venues have closed for good.
The number of daily cases has been sliding since its mid-August peak, and Bangkok once again seems to be turning the page, with people out in large numbers at bars where the sale of alcohol in paper cups is barely concealed.
Although the vaccination rollout has been slow and beset with problems, Thailand has fully vaccinated about 24% of the population. In Bangkok, that is 46.9%.
Health officials today confirmed another 10,288 new COVID-19 infections and 101 deaths.
Apart from the reopenings, the COVID-19 task force will also mull pushing the start of curfew back to 10pm. It currently runs 9pm to 4am.

Curfew in Greater Bangkok from Monday
Mall closures and other curbs to last 2 weeks, same rules apply in southern border provinces
Strict measures, including a curfew, will be imposed in Bangkok and five adjacent provinces for two weeks starting from Monday as the government attempts to curb the soaring number of new Covid-19 infections.
The same 9pm-4am curfew will also be imposed in the four southermost provinces of Narathiwat, Pattani, Songkhla and Yala.
The tightened measures affect Greater Bangkok, which encompasses the capital and the five neighbouring provinces of Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Prakan and Samut Sakhon.
The announcement was made by the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Friday afternoon.
Measures to be imposed in Greater Bangkok include the closure of department store malls except for businesses such as supermarkets, which will be allowed to operate until 8pm.
Other premises allowed to open until 8pm in the malls are banks, chemists, shops selling communication devices and vaccination centres.
Other measures in Greater Bangkok are:
All eateries to close at 8pm.
Work for home encouraged for all businesses.
Strict enforcement of social distancing measures.
No public transport services from 9pm to 3am.
Closure of public parks at 9pm.
Closure of all infection-risk businesses such as salons, spas and traditional massage parlours tattoo shop.
No gatherings of more than five people, except for religious functions.
Covenience stores and night markets closed from 8pm to 4am.

We are contacting all of our clients this weekend to resume tattooing sessions and postponed appointments.
We can only receive 1 client per time, unaccompanied, wearing a mask during the tattoo session and showing no symptoms (taking a temperature before entering the studio and applying an alcohol-based gel.)
Regarding clients who come to have a tattoo in the studio in the days and weeks to come, please just use common sense, if you are sick and if you have symptoms, cough, fever and others, stay at home.
Anyone who is ill or has symptoms, will be not accept.
We do not accept walk-in customers during the worldwide coranavirus period.
We are sorry to have to apply this rule, this is just a safety measure for everyone for you and for our customers and for us.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has extended closures of several venues including schools until May 31st, with an exception of eateries which can reopen today (Monday), according to a BMA announcement issued yesterday.
The studio still closed from Monday 09 to May 17, 2021.

Schools, entertainment venues and parks among places covered by directive originally set to end on Sunday
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has extended for another week a closure order that was set to end on Sunday in light of a continued high rate of coronavirus infections in the capital.
The studio is closed from Monday April 26 to May 10, 2021.
