Traditional Sak Yant Tattoos in Bangkok, Thailand

Thai tattoos are a form of traditional tattooing deeply rooted in Thai culture and spirituality.
They are believed to offer protection, bring good luck, and enhance the spiritual strength of those who wear them.

Each Sak Yant pattern has a specific meaning, whether it is courage, prosperity, success or wisdom.
These tattoos are not only aesthetic; they are also considered powerful amulets that inspire devotion and foster a spiritual connection.

Traditionally, they are made by Buddhist monks or Sak Yant masters, using sacred motifs and Buddhist prayer inscriptions in Khom Thai script.

In a modern studio context, the designs are adapted to contemporary tattoo techniques and current hygiene standards.
Please note that we do not perform blessings: if you wish to follow the traditional path, you should see an ajarn or a monk.

Among the most common Sak Yant designs are the Suea Koo (two tigers), Hah Taew, Gao Yord (nine peaks),
Paed Tidt (eight directions), as well as many animal and deity motifs from the mythical Himapant forest.
Each pattern is associated with specific blessings, such as protection from danger, success in business,
strength in combat, or harmony in relationships.
